Allyson Schauer

Allyson Schauer is a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She joined Dr. Kilianski’s office in May 2018 when her family relocated from Northern Colorado.  Allyson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Colorado State University, and a second Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Regis University in Denver.  Allyson found her passion in medicine working as a mother and baby nurse in a community hospital North of Denver and realized she wanted to focus her career on helping women and babies. In 2016 Allyson graduated as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. Upon passing the board certification exam, Allyson practiced in Colorado with an interest in adolescent and post-partum care. Today, Allyson works closely with Dr. Kilianski and conducts many forms of routine visits, including: well-women, gynecologic, obstetric (OB), weight management, and contraception related visits including intrauterine devices (IUDs) and the Nexplanon subdermal implant.

 

In her free time, Allyson enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, traveling, cooking, and being outdoors.

 

Nurse practitioners, or Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs), have either a master’s or doctoral degree and have completed advanced clinical training beyond their fundamental knowledge and competency as a registered nurse.
